Quick report
Tremndous day of skiing thigh deep very low density snow off the flanks of Little O Malley. I surprisingly found no whoomphing and saw no natural avalanches. The few steeper rolls I skied cracked readily but the storm snow lacked cohesiveness for form an acual slab. I was surprised that the snow was not as wind effected in our zone than I expected and I believe that tracks with the peak 3 wind data showing the strongest winds before the bulk of the snow fell. I suspect it would be quite unstable anywhere a slab has set up in the new snow. As to us, we enjoyed great skiing.
