We found pretty nice shallow powder riding up high, especially where it was smooth underneath the new snow. The shallow new snow certainly refreshed the riding conditions and colder temperatures stopped the meltdown for now. Breakable crust made steering interesting at times.
Snowpack
Dust-on-crust conditions. Nice and fast where melt-freeze crust is supportable and smooth, but a bit inconsistent or variable due to drifting, underlying tracks, and areas with breakable crust under the new snow.
