The incident occured outside the Jackson Hole Mountain Resort boundary in an area known as Breakneck. The second skier triggered the avalanche after the first dropped in and cleared the area. The one individual was caught and carried over the first intial cliff band. The individual sustained injuries and was packaged by Jackson Hole Ski Partol then transported by TCSAR via helicopter.
