What a day for a spectacular Moto 101 in the Wolf Creek through Mill Hollow zones. Cruising Duchesne ridge, the tale of two snowpacks (or one snowpack and one bush world) was obvious in peeking over the south side of the ridge (see attached photo of aspect dependent snow). A stop in Mill Hollow to dig a patented 10 minute pit told the tale of structure on the shady slopes - stubborn propagation on the basal facets, beyond the scope of an ECT in 2 of 3 tests, and one ECTP30. Snow above the Christmas Eve crust continues to weaken, but no results were observed on this layer.
Snowpack
A rime crust was observed in select locations near the top of Wolf Creek pass, but generally nice settled powder was found throughout travels.
