The wind has been blowing.
Not much different to report other than the weakening snow surface, which should continue to do so over the next couple of days. Not a player now but could be once we get another storm.
Low danger where we traveled today. Moderate danger of wind slab avalanches in recently wind loaded terrain - east to north east facing terrain being most likely culprits.
Snowpack
Surface hoar and near surface faceting noted on shady slopes. Snow surface damp on aspects that were getting direct sun. South facing slopes will most likely have a melt freeze crust tomorrow.
