First look at the snow since 10/31 ahead of a weak storm due mid-week. Video below is description of current snowpack. Where there is pre-existing snow, it is weak and faceted. This is on northwest through northeast aspects above about 9000'.
Photos of the upper Cottonwoods and American Fork looking towards Timpanogos. Going forward this early winter it is important to identify where there is pre-existing snow and where the slopes are currently bare.
Snowpack
About 45 cms/18" on northerly aspects above about 9000'. Southerly faces are bare, with patches of white on upper some elevation aspects facing east and west.
