- <p>Surface Hoar (6-10mm) formed during our most recent dry spell was maintained prior and during today's storm (dusting) on leeward slopes protected from Easterly winds, and buried beneath 5cm of new storm snow. A persistent weak layer to watch as we approach another storm cycle.</p>
