We have a right side up snowpack in Ogden - and at 8000' we don't seem to have any persistent weak layers to worry about. The skiing was excellent, with thin coverage being the predominant hazard. There is plenty of snow available for transport, which will be a problem when winds pick up.

Instability Comment

Sluffing is likely on steep slopes.

There was 4-5" of low density powder on the skin track on the way up, and at least 2" more on our way down. We have about 1 meter of snow in sheltered areas, with very little wind effect in exposed areas. Lots of snow available for transport if and when the winds kick up.
