Quick report

Cracking
specific

New snow was distributed throughout the ravine, with widespread wind deposits on the south side of the bowl. There were shooting cracks from foot travel and a hand pit found a consolidated layer (~4 fingers) on top a few cm of looser snow above the previous bed surface. The wind was seemingly blowing in all directions and there was active wind loading throughout the ravine. We ultimately turned around from near the base of Pinnacle Gully due to low visibility and reactive snow conditions.
