Quick report

Collapsing
isolated

Skinned up Main gulley before transitioning to bootpack at about 4200’. Conducted some quick hand shears along the way and noted 4-6” wind slab over 3-4” of facets on rotten/frozen layer. We continually tested and noted the upper most wind slab instability. Opted to stay below the convexity at top of main gulley and did hard ski cuts with stable result. We did note some minor collapsing and isolated settling/whomphing up high at around 5,000ft.
