Quick report
Skied 2 gullies south burt on sat 06/04. Top was scoured but soft. Bottom was enjoyable. It appeared the new snow adhered well with the crust. The nothernest gullied hand the deepest/most enjoyable snow. No signs of instability observed pict 1 07/4 sunday. Back up the cog. Our tracks from yesterday (burt) were invisible. Looked a lot “pillowier” than yesterday. We Did not notice any parties into great gulf. The southern shoulder below the road ( sorry dont know the name) had evident signs of cross loading. Descended ammo north branch from almost summit.. . Snow was definitely different than yesterday. We gingerly made our way into ammo ravine. Dug a quick pit and a few hand shears in some pockets of snow accumulation. In short/approximetaly. Wind affected snow which easily supported a skier on top on uncosolidated on top of crust. 4” 4f over 5”+ fist over 5”+ very loose over ice crust. Upside down snowpack on my interpretation We skied lowest angle possible into a below treeline gully. Great skiing. At lower elevation the heat was evident. Above freezing Temps and small rollerballs were observed. Enough coverage to ski to the car. Yay!. 2nd pic
