Quick report
Traveled to 10,200’ on Angle Mountain on all aspects of the compass. Overall, poor structure exists in the snowpack (see below). A semi supportable surface crust exists on most aspects except north. Little recent snow in this part of Togwotee. Cool temperatures and a light breeze kept the snow surface frozen until at least 1pm. Wet loose avalanches are of little concern here for the time being.

Clear with cool temps at 10k. Light breeze from the south.
Snowpack
Pit results indicate moderate to high strength, poor structure, and potential for propagation on both north and south facing terrain around 10,000’. A dry winter snowpack still exists at this elevation.
Facets from the January drought are well developed and easy to find, although no propagation was observed at this interface ~1-2 feet down. These would be more of a concern with a larger overlying slab.
Depth hoar from November and December is present at the base of the snowpack ~2-3 feet down and will propagate a crack.
