During a 15 minute time period at 11:00 am, there were four separate Loose Snow Wet Avalanches that initiated in the steep rock bands/cliffs on the NE facing aspect off of Preston Peak. Each slide entrained significant amounts of snow while descending and accumulated debris piles of up to 3 feet deep.
While driving down Big Cottonwood at 4:00 pm, there appeared to be similar activity on the East facing steep terrain of Mount Raymond.
