Partly to mostly cloudy skies, a few flurries. Moderate winds with light transport in exposed areas.
Snowpack
15″ to 20″ of relatively dense storm snow with localized drifts up to 3 ft. The snow fell on grassy slopes where we traveled and we saw no signs of instability in steep terrain apart from some localized cracking up to 12″ deep in stiffer drifts near ridgeline.
Dug a quick pit on the north side of Bellview and was pleasantly surprised to see non-propagating results on the 10/28 interface, which is F+, 1 mm facets, below a 4F- slab.
