We saw multiple storm slabs on S through E to N aspects on steep, rocky terrain during the 2/16 storm and after on 2/17 and 2/18. These storm slabs did not step down into larger avalanches. We experienced large and widespread collapsing but didn't see much cracking. Not seeing cracking could have been due to the 12inches of fresh snow. Photo is from a smaller avalanche that we passed.
