Partly Cloudy becoming cloudier as day progressed. Winds - Calm. Temps - 15-20 degrees.
Snowpack
Shallow snowpack, 3-4 ft. depth in places less, surface hoar present on all aspects. Wind affected snow(very stiff) on ridge tops and lower elevation bowls. Steeper terrain 35 or greater was not as wind affected. South facing terrain crusty and wind effected. Avalanche Activity: Signs of past avalanches present on terrain 35-40, surface snow (10") sloughing. No collapsing or whumphing.
