We were getting massive whumphs and collapses the whole way up. Couldn't get any storm slabs to pop on tests though. Was skiing the gut down pineapple pass being wary of the steeper slope on the right near the bottom. Saw a shooting crack propagate off to the right so pulled over to the left in the exposed boulder field. At that point I noticed the debris pile and crown. The crown was maybe 18" at it's tallest point and maybe 80' wide. The debris pile was large enough to bury a person. I triggered the slide from a shallower slope that didn't rip, maybe 60' away. It popped on a convexity.

Remote triggered, NW aspect, approx. 5000', on a convex roll. Likely a wind slab. Snow was firmer than the new storm snow, maybe 1 finger.
