93 cm of snow sitting on 3 cm of depth hoar. Many faceted layers are beginning to round under stable temperatures and the weight of new storm snow from several cycles. A persistent faceted layer still exists at 51 cm. Temperatures favor near surface faceting in the top 3 cm of the snowpack.
