Stuck to low angle terrain around The Cross. Did not encounter any recent avalanches or signs of instability. Dug a pit on a SE facing 23 degree slope. Compression test showed a failure at 13 25cm down (new snowfall) and a failure at 19 70cm down on the crust that sits atop the December facets. Ect showed a failure at 34 70cm down.
