Started from PCT trailhead and did three laps in the Kendall trees area. Coverage was good with the exception of some open creeks on the up track. Boot pen was knee deep. I’m 5’8” and 180. Ski Pen was top of boot We dug a quick pit and noticed a layer of graupel below recent precipitation particles about 30 CM down. This broke CTE. The “slab” was fairly unconsolidated when removed from the column. We had another failure CTM about 90cm down that was more consolidated. Skiing was great in the trees, Pleanty of snow!
