Quick report

Dug a quick pit in a sheltered spot near the bottom of the first glade on Anderson mountain road, 48 cm of snow, fist hardness all the way down. Did a CT, and the column slid out as soon as i isolated it, not bonded to the beargrass at all. Did another CT and the whole column crumbled on 5. Snow totally unconsolidated. Higher up where it was more exposed to the wind there were 3 distinct layers, mostly fist hardness, but a 4f hardness layer about halfway down. Ski pole penetration was to the ground everywhere.
