Quick report
We dug our pit on a due east aspect at about 7700' about 100' below ridge top and found propagating results. 160 cm total depth. Our pit was about 120 cm deep so we did not eval presence of depth hoar. ECT results from snow surface: ECTN9 24 cm down ECTN13 30 cm ECTP24 60 cm down on facets under a crust. This layer was a clean shear when we pried on the column. We skied fairly conservatively in trees generally less than 30 degrees with some roll overs in the 30s. No problem there.
