Quick report

We toured on Trimmer Peak today. We avoided the start zones of the upper couple hundred feet of the peak proper where there were signs of wind slab. In the zones, we traveled through, we did not notice many signs of wind slab, and the few small test slopes on a ridge that were textured by the wind did not produce cracks in response to ski cuts. Snow stayed cold through 1:30pm on north facing terrain. As we descended the bonus peak, the bottom half had the consistency of thick, gluey oatmeal, but there was  enough coverage to allow for snow travel. Creeks are running in this area. There were previous (from yesterday?) basketball-size natural pinwheels on NW slopes around 7600', but we did not produce them today when we made turns on similar nearby terrain.
