Quick report

Out glassing for wet slabs to track the progress of avalanche activity during this big warm up. We observed 3 fresh large slab avalanches today in the Sawtooths and widespread wet loose activity. Temperatures registered up to 55*F on the truck thermometer while driving through the Salmon River Valley and were around 50*F at Banner Summit!

Observed 3 fresh wet slab avalanches not mentioned in previous observations. Two on Cabin Peak and one on McGowan. We also observed widespread wet loose activity, whose debris may appear large but is often just fanned out on aprons.
