Quick report
The two main things I have been looking out for right now are heavily wind-loaded slopes or thick wind slabs. Next, I want to know whether the slope/aspect I'm on has a thick enough layer above the PWL (persistent weak layer) if I can trigger a larger slide, which can easily be tested with a probe.
No cracking in the trees, but on Monday (out with the Avalanche School), there was cracking on all wind-loaded spots we tested.Weather

Light snowfall stopped around midday as winds steadily picked up.
Snowpack
For the most part: we have some new snow on top (snow available for transport), a wind slab (varying in size with the exposure), decomposing new snow underneath, then some rounds or wind pack slab before our persistent weak layer.
Avalanche
No observed avalanches in the North, but limited view on the slopes farther back. Plenty of signs of wind loading on all ridges and peaks.
