Quick report

Red Flags Comment

No real red flags per se, but plenty of size 1 loose dry and size 1 natural soft slabs from Wednesday. We were able to trigger very minor slow moving sluffs but only in the steepest terrain.

Photos:

 1. Shallow natural soft slab on the Days Fork headwall from Wednesday; perhaps 6" deep and 30' wide.
 2. Harmless sluffs with provocation in steeper terrain.
 3. Localized pooling of 8mm graupel in localized areas.

Snowpack

Initial rain/snow line at 6100'...dropping to 5800' by afternoon. Settled 8" up high.

Small grained graupel and rimed stellars during the day transitioning to beautiful dendrites in the afternoon.

Low/mid elevation snow became heavy by the late afternoon.
