First pitch of skiing out of the wind scoop at the top of the Mayan - the usual suspect, skiers left panel likely cross-loaded from WNW winds the last two days. I spent more time than usual trying to ski-cut / stomp around at the starting zone before it released as expected, somewhat stubborn trigger. Significant downslope propagation was surprising pulling out the flanks on either side on the way down with an impressive powder cloud for added effect. Debris ran the entire couloir but not quite over the cliff at the bottom (R3-R4).
