Quick report
Overall, we are looking at an early season low-coverage wind-scoured landscape. Bushes, grass, and shrubs were visible on all aspects with many patches of bare ground. The snow was deepest in the gully of Peak 3. Because the snowpack was so variable and shallow- no formal snowpits were dug or tests conducted. Expect a core shot or two on your way down, coverage is thin and you will need to dodge and weave through some vegetation.

We observed broken clouds at the beginning of the tour that turned to blue skies by the end of the day. Below treeline was calm winds. Above the treeline and in the gully we felt a moderate to strong wind from the north and northwest. The wind was strongest along the ridge and at the summit.
Snowpack
The snow surface at lower elevations was soft, but once we ascended above the tree line, it was predominately a breakable wind layer on top of facets with patches of icy rock-hard snow and sastrugi.
