Quick report
- Collapsing
- isolated
One collapse in flat meadow NTL. 10-12" new snow, including some graupel. Light winds but still transporting snow. Noticed wind drifts/ribs at the top of gullies and along skiers left side at top of gullies. Did have a brain fart on ascent crossing through north facing steeper terrain below treeline. Minded the forecast on descent and stayed out of middle of gully per concerns of the fetch. "Drifts will be forming below cornices, leeward ridgelines, and in gulleys or concave catchments at higher elevations." Minded slope angles as best we could with one pitch that reached mid to high 30s. Crust under 5" new snow on final pitch to valley bottom that had a more eastern tilt to it.

Yogi's. Unsure how recent, saw it from road. Ran from top to first bench down the middle of the shot. Skiers left side and skiers right side of main shot unaffected. R2D2. One small sluff from just below ridgetop that ran 50 feet.
