- specific
Two wind slabs collapsed respectively as two skiers cut across Cropley chute from skier left to skier's right. The skiers entered from the trees on the skier's left to avoid probable wind slab at the top of the chute. The skiers cut across the chute, one at a time, with the first triggering a slide about 1-2ft deep and 30ft wide, and the third triggering a slide about 1-2ft deep and 150ft wide. The skiers involved were not carried in the slides.
