Red Flags
Recent Avalanches, Cracking

I noticed a few small avalanches naturally triggered on road cuts and steep slopes in gullies and ravines. Lots of shooting cracks. a very light layer of surface that formed last night. And a buried surface hoar layer 30cm below the surface about 4cm thick. This layer is very touchy with compression test score of CT1 and Extended Column Test score at ECTP3. Not sure how wide spread this is but certainly worth watching.

Buried surface hoar about 20cm below the surface and 4cm thick. Very touchy. Will become more dangerous with additional storm loading or drifting into wind slabs.
