Quick report
Today, we rode in Lionhead to take down our weather station.
On shaded areas the snow had a slight crust but that crust was already melted in sunny areas when we started riding.
The snow is wet to the ground on south facing slopes. On north east facing slopes up to 9400ft, the snowpack is isothermal, and moist to the ground.
While traveling on the snow we often sunk in either with the sled or on foot on our way out.
The temperatures were below freezing and the wind was cold, but the sun still melted the snow on sun exposed aspects. Sun sheltered areas remained frozen on the surface.
We didn't observe any cracking or collapsing as well as no new snow.

We observed a lot of wet loose avalanches and aspects NE over West in sizes D1 to D2.5. Some of them triggered as cornice falls.
