We skied from the ridge down the west side on a NW aspect. We transitioned at the bottom of our run and started skinning back up. We experienced one collapse and shooting cracks and made our way towards less steep terrain. Once we had made it to a flatter area, we observed another large collapses and shooting cracks, followed by an avalanche. No one was caught/carried or buried.

Recent snow broke on top of mid February surface hoar. Prior to avalanche, we experienced two large collapses along with shooting cracks as we were skinning back towards the ridge.
