It happened again... We got crusted on a holiday... Let's give a "warm" welcome to Cupid's Crust? • Ample solar won the fencing contest between the powder and the sun. Afternoon air temps hovered around -6C, however there was zero wind below ridgetop and the surface snow became hot pow despite the cool temps. Quality skiing persisted until descending below 5000' where the snow was sticky and wet. Your ski bases will thank you for not skiing below that elevation in GNP this season anyways. • Due to concerning weak snow above the 2/3 crust, we stuck to slopes less than 30 degrees today. No signs of instability observed during our travels. Recent avalanche activity (estimated 2/12-2/13) No signs on instability today other than recent avalanches from the past few days. estimated to have occurred 2/12 or 2/13

Very light, but noticeable wind effected snow on ridgetop from recent easterly winds. • Moist surface snow 5000'-7000'. Moist-Wet surface snow 4000'-5000'
