Strong winds at ridge top leeward slopes were loaded with 6 to 12” of snow. Skied down the wind scoured ridge from peak 3980 towards hunter pass. Headed north west off of the ridge at 3600ft to look for soft snow, found a punchy wind slab, ski cut where the slope rolled over into steeper terrain and triggered a shallow slab approximately 100 feet wide 6 to 8” deep
