•Ski tour Started ski tour around 10 and made it to the top of the low southern ridge around Leavitt lake area. Along route obvious sings of Western wind on top of the snow surface. At the top observed higher elevation N-NW aspects have affected surfaces down to rock level across most seen slopes(see pics) at top dug pit. Weather time of pit: partly cloudy @ 30-35 degrees w/ 5 mph wind gust max @ 10mph Pit details: 11:35 AM 17 degree slope N facing Aspect CTM= 18 @95 cm CTH=28 @ 72 cm ECTP=28 @ 72cm •moved to ridge and heard decent whumpf in a semi bowl shaped area of the slope •skied down open slope further east and heard no audibles https://caltopo.com/m/HP6QGMP
