Quick report
About a Kilometer North of the Leavitt Lake road turn off on HWY 108. Found a weak layer 6cm from surface followed by what I assume are 2 thick rain layers 30-40 cms below surface. Pit was dug on a western facing aspect. Compression test resulted in a CTE at 6cm from surface. No evidence of recent avalanches on the avalanche prone slopes in the area. I did not travel very aggressively today so I did not feel any instability's in the snow pack during traveling
