A bit windy. By that, I mean very windy. Snow pulses that had 1 inch per hour snowfall rates with heavy wind transport all day. Isolated cracking along the ridgeline at 7800'. Mostly on south-facing, wind-loaded rollovers.

Snowpack
390 cm snowpack depth at 7800' on east facing slope above Pimp Knob. Top 125 cm of snowpack was alternating layers of decomposing new snow, new snow, and MF crusts. Small, breakable MF crusts at 85 cm down and 110 cm down. 15 cm graupel layer started 125 cm down. Extended column tests showed density break in the new snow and small breaks above the lower MF crust, but no propogation across the column. ECTN9 30 cm down (at 360 cm); ECTN15 on MF crust.
Avalanche
Natural releases on W facing side of Red Creek near creek bottom at 6600' across from bottom of Hot Wheels Ridge. Slough running thick and heavy on E-facing rollovers, bordering on soft slab. Likely will become more consolidated and either wind slabby or storm slabby this weekend.
