Quick report
The wind was the primary event going moderate with gusting mid morning to midafternoon, then a pause (you must have heard the cheer from out here) before becoming strong after dark with winds to 53 mph in the Gothic area, dying by midnight. Generally steady but very light snow with 5½" new and water 0.44" while overcast all day. Mild with the high 32F and low, and the current, 13. Currently just a little bit of clearing starting as wind continued to decrease and currently is calm. Snowpack back up to 55½", only 10% below average for this date, but should settle fast. No signs of avalanche activity, but no visibility until just now. billy
