Quick report
It snowed most of yesterday and into the night until stopping just after midnight. Strong wind overnight only letting up about 2 hours ago. Total snow in the past 24 hours was 8½" with water 0.70". The snowpack reached the winters deepest of 27½" now just 27% below average, the best in a while, though snowfall remains 54% below average. Water content 'just' 39% below average due to the density of the winters snowfall. As Stuart Smalley (Al Franken) says "progress, not perfection". The wind caused a lot of snow movement so slopes will be loaded. Currently clearing and 16º with no wind. billy
