Quick report
Diurnal recrystallization was present on the southerly aspects. Dug a pit on the south east aspect found a crust/facet/crust/Dh layer. on one of the hasty pits we dug on the west aspect where HS was 20cm had a wind board crust over faceted crystals to ground and on the same aspect 50 feet to the left the HS was 180 just goes to show the variability here with the wind we’ve been experiencing Went up Gothic today to observe the west to Southeast aspects for persistence, slab structure. no instability under foot wind slabs were stubborn however, the persistent weak layers were present as suspected on these aspects on Gothic.
