Traveled from 5500-7600’ on west through south west aspects. Obscured sky and light snow in the morning transitioned to partly sunny from 12:30-1:30pm, then back to overcast. Light to moderate winds from the south with evidence of wind transport and wind slabs forming. We were able to trigger small wind slabs around 10cm deep on southwest facing test slopes at 7300’. Sudden results in multiple compression tests down to 22cm and non-propagating results on an ECT on a NW aspect at 7300’. Loose wet became a consideration when the sun came out. Skiing was much improved with the new snow!
