We toured on low-angle slopes, E through SE aspects between 8300' and 9100' today. Steady snow, no noticeable winds. Above 9000' on Se thru E aspects: - we remotely triggered 3 tiny D<1 wind slabs from about 50 to 70' away (E through SE aspects at ridgetop). - Stomping on fresh wind pillows got shooting cracks that propagated 20 - 30' - We experienced about 6 whumphs (some of which remotely triggered the wind slabs) E aspects above 9000'
