Quick report

Interesting natural slab avalanches on Galena Peak and human-triggered slab on Williams Peak. Wet loose activity was less than expected today. Snowpack appeared to be noticeably wetter on slopes adjacent to the road from Ketchum south. 

Cracking and collapsing are N/A - roadside observations only.

Winds were still moving snow around on some ridgelines on the highest peaks in the Boulders.

No direct snowpack observations. 

Avalanche

See 3/14 avalanche entry for large natural slab avalanches on W-NW aspects in alpine terrain on Galena Peak (SW bowl). Large human-triggered slab avalanche in a shady, alpine couloir on Williams Peak in the Sawtooths (photos of debris, could not see crown). 3xD1.5 wet loose on SE aspects on Heyburn (Sawtooths), near 9700'. 2xD1 wet loose on Carbonate, E aspects near 6100'.
