Quick report
- Collapsing
- isolated
Day trip into Tornak and Coyote Yurts to shovel the huts. We observed very good early season coverage from low to upper elevations with a generally "right side up" snow pack, with the exception of thin basal facets on cold and upper elevation slopes. Isolated collapses in wind affected areas and around shallow snow over downed trees and sage brush- no cracking observed. One profile on a North aspect at 8500' showed 70cm new snow on 10cm of basal facets and tests had full propagation on basal facets (ECTP15). Great skiing and coverage for November!
