Quick report

Coverage was surprisingly good all the way up to the Snow Lake Divide, the Apron skied much better than expected. Snow on the way up to Snow Lake Divide did have that 6" low density top layer. As we crossed the lake and started ascending, it started turning into more medium density about 2" down. Winds were high and alternating between blowing up-slope and down-slope. Up at Chair Peak Lake the wind had compacted a stout crust that another group said they had shoot a 20' crack on them. This other group also said they found that the wind crust at the pass could be picked up in large sections. We also heard reports that Pineapple Pass was full of Sharks and needs more coverage before it's fully skiable.
