Quick report
Back to spring-like conditions; warm, a few spits of drizzle, 50/50 sun/clouds. There was an inch of new snow up high, and the wind was blowing moderate to strong all day while seeming to change directions throughout the day. We dug at the top of the gully, and at 7,200' observed 70 cm of snow we did not get any results in our tests, ECTX. Ladies' Day skied well until we met the frozen river cobbles, so we climbed out and enjoyed some classic Gash burnt dad pow. We were surprised that the mellow ridge back out wasn't horrendous breakable/zipper crust, but fun surfy powder skiing. Unless one is an advanced combat skier, the egress is still too thin to ski below the summer TH. MANY THANKS to the kind soul who continues to plow the road to the creek parking area, we made it to and fro in our Honda, no problem.

In what we refer to as the 'Ladies' Day couloir', N, 7,000, 35 degrees; It's difficult to say when/ what part of the gully slid, because of the recent new snow and wind drifting, but the bottom third of the 'Ladies' Day' gully was chocked full of river-cobble sized-ice-ball-debris, with a few fresh inches of snow on top. There is a rock slab section at about 1/3 of the way down the gully that I suspect slid either in the warm-up before the last big storm, or during the storm last week.
