Quick report

Toured two oceans mountain, followed NE ridge up to 10,600 ft. On all north aspects we observed widespread facets and surface hoar. On the east side of the ascent ridge we observed the same wide spread surface hoar and facets but the surface hoar seems to be growing on a very thin suncrust. No crust was found on the northern aspects. Snow depth ranged between 12 and 20 inches so tons of sneaky underlying hazards but we observed no signs of instability but it will be very interesting when this surface hoar gets buried.
