Quick report
Lots of recent natural avalanche activity near and above treeline from the day before (1/5). Stiff wind affected snow and wind board found near ridgelines and exposed areas. No cracking noted. In the morning very light winds then picked up by midday. Wind affected snow found from ridgeline down to 9500ft, and in more open areas in the trees. A large avalanche ran the length of the Hose (on 1/5). Might have also propagated across the slope connecting neighboring features.
