Quick report
Skied the Birthday Bowls for the 39th year on January 18th. A bushwhack at its best, however not the worst year! The snowpack is certainly set up for problems if it ever snows again as seen in the video. Photo of surface hoar.
Snowpack
There is only 12-14 inches of snow at 7200 ft and it is all faceted poorly structured. Some loud recrystalized "powder" on the shaded side that is actually turnable between the bushes.
